Jerusalem is the largest and most important tourist city in Israel, attracting millions of tourists from Israel and abroad every year. Our city is suburban. Most people live in apartments, high rise buildings, and one family homes. The average family has 3 or 4 children. When young people marry, they usually buy or rent their own place.

Most people go to work by: public transportation, cars, bikes, and even walking.
Most students go to school by: buses, cars, bikes, and walking.
What modes of transportation do families own? Most people have cars.

On average, the warmest month is July.
On average, the coolest month is January.
The maximum average precipitation occurs in January. Normally there is less humidity than in central area. The evenings are cooler and pleasant.
January In winter it is much colder in Jerusalem than in other parts of Israel.

The topography of my area. There are beautiful hills and mountains with grassland in Jerusalem. The view is spectacular.

We have a Knesset Israeli Parliament in Jerusalem the capital of Israel. The prime minister is Benjamin Netanyahu and the President of Israel is Shimon Peres. The Knesset members make the laws in the parliament.
